Hi, your clutch plate will need to be sent for post mortem once it gives up. :D Will make an interesting case study for TFIans
Please donate the same or perform an autopsy with pictures yourself. :p

Same message goes for you Shanshank Reddy. :p

I believe that day would be too far. I am optimistic that stock clutch will last between 1 - 1.2 lac kms :)

My clutch at 75000 right now.

Facing intermittent problems with engaging gears these days. No clutch slippage, no reduction in mileage, no loss of pickup, not sure what the issue is. FASS diagnosed that the Master Cylinder might be the issue, replaced - Extended warranty but the original issue is still persistent + every gear is slightly Jerky now but also there is a noticeable rise in pickup for some reason after the master cylinder change, the car flies.

Looks like i'll have to get the clutch kit replaced to fix the hard gear shifting. Will get a second opinion at another FASS and go for it shortly.

Maybe changing the slave cylinder too can help smooth gear shifts. Get it checked first before clutch kit.

They checked it and said it was OK. But need to get it checked again. Need to check transmission oil too just in case there was a leakage.

ganges, considering your car runs on highways 90% of times, we wouldn't be surprised if your clutch lasts more than 2 Lac kms :)
