I have observed there are quite a number of Linea/Punto owners here who has replaced the clutch kit as early as 15k - 25k.
This gives a feeling as FIAT clucth is not that quality or TASS has taken the opportunity to make more buck by replacing the clucth kit.
This may be true for other major parts also but, we can think of different threads later.
I want to start this poll just to know how many has replaced there clutch and after how many km.

    1) Clutch replaced between 10-20 k Km
    2) Clucth replaced between 20-40 k Km
    3) Clutch replaced between 40-60 k Km
    4) Clutch replaced between 60-80 k Km
    5) Running original clucth with more than > 70k (Guessing that 70k is a decent life)

This might give us some idea about whether this is really an issue with the clutch quality ? ight give some pattern in the failure range in km.
Any suggestion to enhance this poll are welcome , moderators please suggest.

    Mine relaced yesterday...
29k on ODO now. Release bearing and clutch plate were damaged.
the second option should have been 20-40...It shows 30-40.

I am getting a feeling that ASS does minimum to ensure the customer the benefit of warranty replacement. Reason being the labor cost and effort involved. Clutch replacement requires some 3-4 hours work and if replaced under warranty FIAT doesnt pay the labor cost, if at all they pay, it's a trivial amount.
But when you do a paid job for clutch 2.5k+ comes as labor alone.

60K and 3 years - Still going strong.

Think the poll option should not just have changed but still on because I don't think where to vote now!

You are right teky, however this will give the failure cases and the count will help us understand better.
Now you have to wait until you cross 70K to vote :)
