Pointers for Punto

Hi Guys,

After a lot of evaluation on forward, reverse ,& cameras I concluded ,

Since I am new to driving, Completed my 20day course today ,

1) Will fit Pointers on Front left nr. Head lamp area , for 6 months , so that I will be able to execute tight curves & spots for parking as well as during traffic driving. Will keep a gap of 3-4 inches from bumper , with a touch sensor in it , If any thing touches it will give a beep. This touch sensor & beep will be independent i.e., no connection with car electrical system , it will have its own power supply (batteries) , Pointers will be sleek , Outer dia 4-6mm approx. made from spl. material with flexibility , It will regain its position even if deflects. Will also fit on Front right if reqd.
( Didn't prefer Forward sensors , as it creates nuisance & distrubance in driving , where it is not reqd. Also it will save my bumper from 20mm dia holes ! )

2) will prefer to fit good quality ( clarity ) cameras , instead of reverse sensors , for 2 reasons, a) avoid 4 holes on bumpers , b) "Seeing is believing " rather than Hearing ( reverse sensors ), you never know there is a gutter or big pothole !

I LOVE MY PUNTO & I DON'T WANT ANY SCRACH ON IT , AT LEAST BY MY MISTAKE.

What kind of touch sensors are you going to deploy? Where can we buy it?

Clevermax : These touch sensors are Precision Industrial automation products not available in Car markets , as we r also in business of Designing & manuf. Industrial automation systems we r aware about it , But surely if the concept is successful , I will let u all know abt this, & will also offer it to any one who needs it !
nmp : will surely post photos once i install it , most probably in a couple of weeks ( due to busy schedule )

There are many Innovative concepts in Industrial Automation , but due to there high price are not commercially feasible in Car markets.

Sensors for front is something I had in mind for sometime. But touch sensors looks like a new concept. Keep us posted.
