Petrol prices is now fully deregulated and Diesel prices 'partially' deregulated.
Diesel will be fully deregulated *soon* and if that happens now, the price will raise by another Rs.2.
  5. Got to know that Diesel cars would be subject to one more tax to make it unattractive for prospective buyers since diesel is subsidized mainly for vehicles like trucks. Yet to find the source.

The prices of petroleum products and essential commodities are ever-increasing contrary to that of electronics goods that are decreasing. That is the mantra of Indian economy. :sadblue

Auto makers increase car prices every now n then, alomost 4 times since Jan this year. Now fuel prices have also gone up and looks like it's going to be reviewed every fortnight. So finally the ownership cost and monthly allocation for cars go up n up. Here is the importance of high FE and long service interval. Cash it on FIAT.
  10. What is the frequency of price reviews set as? Is it once every fortnight or longer? And when is diesel going to be completely de-regulated- any time line mentioned anywhere?
