    Thanks @SunnyBoi for the answer.
I plan to upgrade my Palio 1.2 ELX stereo before selling. I had not upgraded the even stock cassette player all these years.
Only music I like is the petrol engine hum at high rpm ;)

    So here goes:

5.25" and 4" speakers. I dont know how good the stock speakers are. And since these speakers seem not available online, have to check with a dealer..

Only one question remains though, that the speakers are designed handle 35W and 30W RMS respectively. Will it be a problem with the Blaupunkt HU which provides 50W RMS ?

@RaviInTfi, I appreciate your idea to update the music system/speakers before you sell it off. Hopefully, the car gave you good memories so far.

BTW, recently, I had installed new speakers and music system in my Palio D car. You may take it as reference which was included in my ownership thread. The thread link you can see in my signature.

    Best Regards!

@Raaz, your audio upgrade seems a very good one. I am looking at avert basic upgrade from a cassette player. Just would like to know one quick point: what is the maximum speaker size that can fitted in front and rear from stock sizes ? Is it 6" and 5.25" or 6" and 6" respectively ?

@RaviInTfi, I think our friend @SunnyBoi has already answered to your question regarding your query on the size of the speakers.

But, with some modifications like i've shown in my ownership thread, you can still able to install 6" speakers on the front side. Since, I haven't installed speakers on the rear side, I don't know about that.

If you're just going to put the speaker in - 5.25inch
If you're going to use a 1inch MDF spacer like Raaz - 6.5inch

Rear stock speaker mounts take only 4 inch speakers. People install 6x9 on parcel tray for added boom boom. Just take a scale and measure the rear speaker size if you don't trust our info, why all this kolaveri. 4 inch and 6 inch is a very wide gap.

Hmmm, @SunniBoi, Nothing meant in that way, just intending get info of whether it is possible to fit larger speakers, "without much kolaveri" as I was not finding the 4" and 5.2" speakers in JBL!

But anyway decided to go just simple and least cost possible and found this. All is fine for online ordering now. And get it fitted through snapdeal..

If you're just selling off the car, just get front speakers. thats what I did for my older palio. tell thebuyer he can put rear speakers if he wants. saves you money too. No one I know uses the 4inch speakers in the back
