Just my opinion here, but the second colour looks yuck! As you said, it's a nail-paint colour and absolutely doesn't suit alloys.

Yes, I too liked the Candy Orange only. The second colour was a mistake by the painting supervisor. Not sure what he was smoking when he mixed that colour.
Yea Yea, I was called Crazy when I selected that Orange colour
Agreed, that it why, the alloys are getting painted for the third time and hope, it matches my expectation.

Sure, more to come. I am painting the rear hubs Golden colour. Let’s see how it turns out.
These are the pics with first coat done. Two more coats, some wet sanding and clear coat to come.
If its going to turn out bad, then I will get it done professionally from out.

Nope. I am paying once, getting painted thrice.
Regarding Golden colour, I always wanted to try them on calipers and alloys of my YZF R15. Now the opportunity presented itself and I took it. The other reason is, its going to just cost me 120 bucks for the Gold paint and will reflect the light pretty good if I am going ahead with my wheel well lighting thing. I too felt that Gold and Orange will never gel, but we will never know how things turn out until we fix them.( like some stupid colour shirt which look yuk in hanger and looks pretty good when we wear it and vice versa). The Golden colour is a temporary thing only and I am posting it here so guys with Black alloys can try this thing or atleast will know how cheap it can be done in home. All said, I am going to pretend that am satisfied even if the Orange Alloy colour and this gold makes my ride an eye sore look at because of the DIY thing
Will post the new Orange colour tomorrow once I take delivery. Most probably it will look like KTM Orange.

As of now, Its only the alloys. If I get hold of the body kit I am looking for, then there could be little more.

Now paint at least the mirror caps orange and then the alloys will look more belonging to the car, or the other way round.

Great effort though, and kudos to your perseverance.
