Who am I?
Very long back in 1984, My FIATian Dad decided my Name to be FIATian Arun Srinivasan and chose Bengaluru as our Hometown. Its 26 years since I first landed on this Planet in a town called Nellore(A.P). My parents regularly got scolding during Parents Teachers Meeting while I was schooling in St. Germain's Boys school. But they were quite proud when I passed MCA from PES Institute of Technology[PESIT]. I chose to work in a Software Company. While I am a bit busy working, my parents are busy searching a girl for me, at least to pass their time in retired life. :wink:

FIAT at Home! :car
In 1991, Dad suddenly decided to buy a car to fit our family of 6! His obvious choice was the Premier Padmini. He bought the Base model called Padmini Economy for Rs.1,05,000/- Little did my Dad know that this car would change his Son's life drastically after almost 18 years. :up

FIAT 1100 CLUB - BANGALORE [FCB]
FCB was Founded on March 15th 2009 by Karthik Makam, Karthik M.B, Sujith T and ME. We are all Classic Fiat enthusiasts who met in Orkut and decided to start FCB. FCB's motto is to Save some Classic Fiats from being scrapped and Help all Fiat owners in Bangalore in maintaining their cars. We now has 100+ active members.

Other than owning Classic Fiats, Karthik Makam has booked a Palio Stile SDX, Karthik M.B owns a Palio 1.6 Sport and Sujith owns a Punto E MJD. Yes, I too will be Owning either Punto or a Linea by Diwali.

Why TFI?
Karthik Makam sent me the link of TFI last night and I felt very emotional after seeing a Forum just for FIATs in India. I registered an hour ago.

At a time when I am contemplating to buy either the Punto or a Linea, this Forum is like a gift from some Angel. :wow I am just waiting to meet all TFI boys on Aug 15th Bengaluru Meet.

I am a member with same handle in Team-Bhp and Gear Heads. I was BANNED for a year from Team-Bhp a week ago. Why :ban - because of so called "FANBOYism" for FIATs.

That's sad buddy. :irked Even I had infractions because of the same reason. What was the actual reason? I told my opinion that DZire is an ugly car.

In "Expressions of a car" thread, I said i20 looks like a frog. So I got an infraction. In .anshuman's thread, I argued with him a bit about the plastics issue. So I was Banned!

It's a really hectic work to maintain a Club like FCB because of members of different age groups. We need to assist them in all the difficulties they face with their Fiats.

I mentioned about our Fiat Club so that it inspires all FIATians here to take care of their Fiats better.
