Well, you washed it Sungoa but i think a dirty Punto with Mud spots all around looks cooler than a wiped one:mrgreen:. The Immediate look gives the sense as it's just back from some rally bout.
Especially the white one...!! That's a looker when it's dirty in a messy way.
But that's no excuse "not to wash your Punto, Good you did it. I am also going for 2nd service of 90 HP tomorrow.

ENKI, I bought my Punto in October 2010. So 19 months are over. In this period there is not more than 20 days where I didn't caressed Punto. When I take my Punto to office it is completely dust free. I feel best way to promote the vehicle is to always keep it clean especially when taking it out side. It is hard to find any dust inside. When parked in crowd it pay back for my efforts and it makes me so proud.

Dirty Punto is sporty but the problem is since I also drive alto some times instead of indicator I use wiper lever. So you can imagine the fate of my windscreen.:sadblue

Best of luck for your second service.

Lol, you swap any car with FIAT or vice versa, wipers will have some very tough time. Whenever there is a turn, wipers pounces on immediately to clean the glass:ugeek:.

I received a call from Tata motors informing about a mega check up camp. I had attended one organized for Fiat vehicles two weeks before. Again another check up camp. They told this time there will be entertainment stuffs(for eyes and ear apart from stomach). registered but then came to know that my punto will possible escorted by Nano and indica. Mela for all Tata vehicles. That means there is chance of my punto to get Italian coffee mixed with tata tea. Don't want to take chance for my punto fluids. I thought I will take my vehicle for coolant leak check which I purposefully avoided last time to avoid multiple confusion for TASS guys. Any way good initiative by TATA motors to build customer satisfaction.

Today I went to a petrol pump and asked the pump operator to fill it using auto cut(to avoid overflow). The operator simply inserted the pipe in my puntos tank and I was shocked to see petrol all over the nearby surface of my Punto, on tyre and on ground. Some how it didn't stop. My doubt is whether the spilled petrol affect the paint?. It was drk and I couldn't see any effect. Washed the area with plain water.

Is coolant leaking from your Punto:confused1?

The worst issue one can have in these Gems. If somehow that leakage increases due hot liquid pressure (for eg. take radiator hose pipe or Radiator itself), all the coolant may drain out in less than a minute. It is the most serious issue in any category of automobiles including Ferrari. You won't notice it until you see the temp. needle shooting up to extreme. Once engine is overheated, it will never be the same like original. Gone gaskets are very first reward with engine oil+coolant. It's even serious than "no engine oil". If engine oil is leaked, you will hear abnormal knocking & you will stop your vehicle in time. Some one a literal donkey may even manage to seize it after noticing it. But for coolant case, you won't notice it until it starts missing out it's beats.

Get it sorted out asap. These engines are just too much for anything at them except such basic lapses. You never find a problem with 24X7 pedal to the floor but you will spoil it with in 10 mins if such key-points are ignored.
Let's take it to TASS immediately & have a complete research & picture session for the cause & rectifications:?.

Thanks Enki. Yesy there is a slight leakage. I have confirmed it. Before my mahabaleswar trip I filled the coolant to Max level. Now it is between Max and Min(sligtly above the midpoint). My car has travelled around 1700 km. I will take it to TASS. But I am carrying a bottle of mixture with me and monitoring it regularly. My Petrol tank is full. Just waiting it to come back to E level. I don't trust workshop guys. They even simply switch on the AC and sit inside the car. :(

Other thing I noticed yesterday while checking the engine oil was a solid cotton kind of thing at the end of the stick. Probably the TASS guys might have wiped the end before checking the level and this cotton might have gone inside with the stick. Is there any other reason for finding any solid materiel with engine oil.

I think it is better not to club these kind of issues with regular service.

Better accompany your car during check ups & rectifications. Are you sure if it was lump formed or cotton?
There shouldn't be anything inside except engine oil. Don't worry about that. You are right that during check ups some may have done likewise.
I repeat, be alongside your car. Not only it ensures that everything is done perfect but also for one's understanding & insight to his vehicle. The leakage is not threatening at the moment but again as i said earlier, you never know when one's angels fly away & demon is around. Carrying a mixture is just what one should do in such situation. Keep an eye on temp. needle.
