    Hi Tjets,

Please let me know the exact tyre pressure If filled with Nitrogen. It's really bumpy with 34 - Front and 32 - Rear

Nitrogen boy suggested 30 for all tyres. Please advice.

    Thank you

  2. My TJet+ tyres (205) are filled with Nitrogen. I fill 36 for front tyres and 33 for rear.
    I haven't felt bumpy.

30front and 28-29 in the rear will be good.
you seem to have over inflated the tyres.

Is there a formula based on which we can calculate the Nitrogen pressure based on the recommended normal air pressure?

cant we fill the regular levels we use for air??
in my punto i filled air only, 30 front,28 back. that thud sound which used to come previously also disappeared.

@Sri: I asked because in Tjet+, recommended pressure is 36/33 in front/rear (the manual does say 33/30 as well for moderate loads at one place), and you suggested 30/28. So I presumed that nitrogen pressure is meant to be slightly different.
I have zilch idea about this. Next question would have been why should it be different.. :)
Had I not seen this thread, I would have (like binzy) gone for 36/33.
  7. i used 30/28 in my punto epk.
    i dont have a jet.
    my tyre size is 196/60/r15

i used lower pressure for morecushioning effect.
the ride would be soft and nice without bumps.

    hence suggested the same.
nitrogen expands less than air.so more n2 in cold tyres will be good

Perfect Sri, thank you. Now, I think for 195 tyres, I need to reduce it to 32 - FRONT and 30 - Rear. Lets see how it goes!

Expecting our Gurjinder Paaji to comment as well!?

    Thank you

    Hi Bnzjon,

I have got 15" stallion racing alloys fitted on to my 195 tyres and its really bumpy. Lemme reduce it by 2 more points and see If there is any betterment, else, I shall go for normal air 36/33.

    Thanks anyway.

Hmm 36/33 seems to be too high! Max pressure for best comfort is 30/29...
