That's just a photoshopped rendering
Thats PS ,, But this year Linea will be boxy ,, thanks to its Small wide acrh underpinnigs and Fiat trying to get on more on Space and class leading loading which they cleary mentioned in Official statement about May 22 Fiat C sedan unveiling
Ya, apparently designed to be like an inexpensive Skoda Octavia in Europe, especially Eastern, Southern and Turkey/Middle East: vastly spacious, 'big', well equipped and powered and of course designed, but a good bit more affordable/better 'value' than say a Jetta, a Ford Focus, and Opel/Vauxhall Insignia etc.
Seems to be lots of even interior parts sharing with the 500X and the Renegade, this car's platform (including suspension-design?) mates. That's a great thing, surely.
Time to get some practice at some practice at being patient for these goodies from Fiat and Jeep to arrive in India, in the fullness of time.
If fiat will take quick actions then we can see this and other fiat cars on Indian road by 2017 end or Q1 2018
Is the station wagon version coming to india?
As per their plan even this Linea is NOT coming to India (at least not through 2018.) We're getting the all-new Grand Sienna in 2017, or so they plan. This Euro-market-centric 'Linea' is surely well into the D1 segment price range, and that segment, at least for sedans, is moribund in India when it comes to sales numbers. They'd be better off bringing the 500X and/or Renegade at those prices, if at all. Unlikely. Especially since export possibilities are probably dim, except perhaps for the Renegade? 2017-2018, at the earliest, China gets them around then as per the FCA China plan?
Grand Siena and rest are ugly looking cars. Seems fiat is not serious about its Indian arm.
