Newbie here :)

Hey Fiatians,

Myself Bijoy, a young entrepreneur and a true blue automobile enthusiast from Trivandrum, kerala. Am passionate about cars and bike from my early ages itself. When about 3-4 years old, I used to travel in buses in my moms lap, I used to wonder how the driver takes this bus to where he wishes ::V and i think there starts the story about my passion. :

I was curious about cars and bikes which made me a regular reader of Autocar India for last 8 years and still use to keep each copy of it as a treasure. Am following many online portals just because I don't have the patience to wait for 30 days for the next issue. Due to my busy schedules I use to visit these portals just for reading and never registered in any of these, but it was irrestible for me join here after hearing about Team Fiat. It really feels great to be surrounded with Fiatians.

Our first car was brought as soon as I got my driving license 5 years back and am still driving that Tata Indigo LX Tdi. I love my car than anything and even after 65000 km in odo it still feels brand new. Now am planning to get it exchanged with the extra beat of my heart, A Grande Punto 90 hp. :cool But have to wait a few more months to get it happen. So mean time, I thought of sharing my dreams and concerns with you guys.

A Big Thanks for all. Am eagerly waiting to get my hands own it. but delayed for a couple of months due to family reasons.
As soon as its over, i will be posting from initial dealership experience to ownership review in detail. To begin with, i would share my experience so far with GP. Have done two test drives so far (75 hp and 90 hp each) and a 24 hr real world test drive (a friend of mine gave me his brand new GP for a whole day to experience it :wink: ) i will come up with a detailed post.

@ clevermax: am working for my own firm at Vellayambalam and my home is near pattom. BTW where are you in TVM ?

 

Hi Bijoy,welcome to TFI,even Iam a hardcore auto enthusiast that I too can not wait for the next issue of Autocar(yup,even am a subscriber since it's launch),so I have found a way out!.I've subscribed to all the auto journals,Autobild,car,BBC,Zigwheels,what car,etc and so I receive an issue almost every 5 days!.but beleive me,after aquiring LINEA,interest in other cars have perished and so I will stop my subscriptions henceforth,so,a happy ending in my case.
