:uh Ouch. The front reminds me of Ritz and rear reminds me of Aveo U-VA
Some how I liked the initial ones.

The pictures posted by Ravi, does it not look like a Santro & 2 Door, difficult to sell in India.

I like this vehicle. While driving through state highways that are not really wide and are often pot holed, I kept thinking about a Fiat offering with their solid build and ample ground clearance. Came back from the trip, and read this news about Nuovo Uno. If launched, I feel, it should be in direct competition with Wagon R. That is the segment which should be targeted by Fiat.

In my opinion, this looks like car that has been made to look like a SUV :evilsmile I really did not like it. However, I many times feel this with many new cars. After a while, I start to like it :clapping

I hope the new UNO does well for Fiat!

Uno launch by end of this year is impossible.

BUT, what about positioning? It will be priced slightly higher then Vista? In that case, what will happen to Punto 1.2? I feel if Fiat had this Uno strategy from the beginning then they should have priced the Punto higher with more premium interiors. Having said that, I feel that's what Fiat is doing. The prices of both Punto and Linea are inching up every month maybe making way for the Uno but they need to work on the Linea / Punto interiors asap.

cant it be placed below vista from where it can take on santro and i10 with its tall boy stance.

I like this car more than the previous one.

However I fear it might not be this car that might be produced as the New Uno.
Even if Fiat were to produce the Uno, what is wrong with the grill? Why is it open only on one side?

As Amit stated i read in autocar dat Fiat would be positioning their UNO slightly higher than the Vista...
I personally feel to capture the market they should position the UNO at an attractive price so that it booms up the sales chart like the Maruti's
