I don't recommend anything fancy here. If you are not comfortable, drive during day time :). Fancy options not always give you better results.

    Bharth,

Following are the cost, I couldn't attach the picture since having some problem with the clarity of the picture. Those which are mentioned Personal are the ones I have asked them to do it. Had an issue with the horn and asked them to change it as part of Warranty.

They should normally charge for 3.5 ltrs of Engine oil only unless they returned the remaining oil to you. The engine takes about 3.2 ltrs only, they are ripping you off about 300 Rs by charging for 4 ltrs.

The above 3 items seems fancy and easy way of money making for the dealer. Could have been avoided.

Yes agreed with you Ramesh. But these are opted by me and I use to clean the A/C once in 6-8 months to make sure it doesn't create any health problems. This I learnt hard way from my previous Esteem car. I use to clean the interior once in a week, but for almost a month I couldn't do it and hence I asked them to do the cleaning, I am sure that next couple of weeks I can't do it due to my travel/drive plan.

With respect to oil, I am not sure whether all service centres do it, when I checked with my service engineer, he told me that when you leave the car for service and ask them to do top up of oil, if it is less than 500 ml, then they don't charge. If this is the way it happens, then I am fine because I need not pay everytime and assume that the remaining oil will be used course of the period.

^^ Agree with you on your point of keeping the car clean and hygiene. But, I would still prefer this to be done by professionals like 3M in front of me instead these dealers. They would do the job more professionally and may also cost you less. :)

Point taken, next time I will do it in 3M. Any way, I have two car wash pending with 3M and will try to combine both.

When I visited 3M last time, they have an aditive (sorry I don't remember the name), which can be added to the diesel when the tank is half full and then tank up and drive which will clean all the corbon insite the tubes. It costs around 2000 bucks and I am not sure anyone used it, pls share your experience.

That is expensive. Just avoid it.

You can better try the System D from Bharat petroleum or even this - ABRO - Diesel Injector Cleaner - 200 ml (pack of 2) - Buy Car Care & Fresheners Products Online | Snapdeal.com
