Or else 99 RPM would be a safe bet, now that the prices of 15 inch alloys have dropped, it should be a peace of mind in getting Fiat genuine alloys right at the door steps.</SPAN>

I guys, Good day to all of you!

I am Qazi (ID as RoadRunner in TFI) from Bangalore and I am having Linea 1.3 MJD Emotion PK 2012 September model. Since I do long trips (Bihar, Mumbai, Chennai, Mysore and Ooty etc) every year, the 16" Alloy keeps bending frequently :banghead:

Not sure if all Linea's 16" Alloy has a bending tendency on rough roads :banhappy:

One of my friend suggested me to got for below modification

    Stock wheel:
    Alloy- 16" OEM
    Tyre: 205/55/R16 GoodYear (Stock)

    Modification:
Allow: 15" OEM (may be from Kava)
    Tyre: 205/65/R15 C-Drive

    Suggestion needed:
    1. Any difference in Dynamics of the car in terms of
    A) Handling
    B) Cornering
    C) Breaking
    D) Road Grip
    E) Maneuvering etc
    2. Any difference in ODO for KM/Hour
    3. Since I drive to Bihar every year, I get some extremely rough roads (like MP stretch) where the road is not visible except potholes. Is it suggested to go for C-drive?

I was thinking of going for 'Hankook OPTIMO ME02 K424 Tubeless (205/65R 15 94H)' because of hard side wall.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance
    Qazi

You have good option in the HR alloys in 15 inchers and should cost around 35-40k for 4 alloys. Also the profile is incorrect. You can go for 195/65 R15 to replace the stock ones and get a close match in terms of outer circumference.

And Yes, the 16 inch alloys though looks great bends quite easily when you those deep potholes. I have changed 2 alloys already :(

Thank you Krishna for your reply. Any idea how much I can get for my stock 16" Alloy with 16K run Good Year Tyre (all 5)?
Also, can you throw some light on other points please?

    Thanks in advance.
    Hi Guys,

I talked to Kawa (Mumbai guy) about 15" Alloy, he is quoting 5K/Alloy + transportation (1K approx) for used ones. Though he said it would be kind of brand new and he will do some polishing, I am little hesitated in buying from Mumbai without seeing them !
Anyone has any idea on any alternative in Bangalore itself?

Please avoid Kawa, they normally don't sell new parts.
