Hey Thomas, I know you are fed up with the leds but then thought of sharing my experience. I had bought a set of leds for my polo last october from ebay for Rs.650/-. Each bulb contains 42 surface leds compared to the 4 or 5 we usually find. Its pretty bright and can be easily mistaken for a drl in the morning and evening. Its been around 4 months now and is still going strong. There are no errors either. Polo too will show up warning lights if there are any issue although it cannot pin point the exact place. In the polo the park light has a seperate casing and is away from the bulb and that might be a reason why it still works. I havent tried it in my linea yet. She will need warm colour instead of white. I am attaching the link here 2x 42 LED SMD T10 Car LED White Light Bulbs | eBay. The seller is pretty good and informative so you can call him to know whether these will last or not. Also recently had heard about leds with lens infront making them more powerfull and found that this guy too has it.2X T10/T15 High Power Led Car Light Bulbs White | eBay
I am attaching a few pics that I have.

If u have noticed the headlamps on a punot.. the park light is close to the main bulbs.. more over i have upgraded the bulbs to 100/90..that generates a lot of heat..

anyways thanks for the link.. for a while i'm forgetting leds park lights...............

Got mu hands on the puddle lights......

i had ordered for a Fiat ghost welcome lights from the below link
    http://www.ebay.in/itm/281059363915?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

Got the item today morning... and was restlessly waiting for lunch hours to check it out..

    Pros
    1)No drilling and easy installation.
    2)Image quality is very good..
    3)Courtesy lights

    Cons
    1)a bit more expensive
2)colour image is not very visible in dim light

The images are not every bright.. that is because i also installed led foot lights.. and hence there was a lot of light falling on the ground when door is opened...

were you mentioning the ABARTH stripes. if so, its totally objective, some like it white some like it black, well i like both..

initially thought of doing it in white and then changing to black after a couple of months. i still want to change them to black.. but

Thomman, Nice work on the car. :)

I'm not sure but I think I saw you somewhere near Adimaly, and you waived hands at me. That was you, right?

Those wires running outside the door, don't they get squeezed?
