White alloys with Red Callipers will be deadly combination and black roof will be star attraction to your Palio.

I don't want to transform my cheetah, just want to add one or two characteristics to it.
No doubt the above changes will take Palio on to different planet, but I love stock version of it and would like to keep it as it was born. :p

If that is the case just paint the calliper and alloys and you are done. :lol

Got a call from Pandit, informing the requested parts are arrived.
Fixed an appointment for 14th Feb, and what a coincidence there is a check up camp and I'll be getting 14% discount on the parts and labor. A best gift to the beloved on valentine Day :clapping
    :wow

I also need to address the irritating rattling sound from the dash and struts.
Hope my cheetah returns healthy and strong!

Hi Channa, a bit OT info for you GTX owners.
I stumbled upon this on 99rpm and thought of posting this info here.
Maybe this is redundant info but it can be useful to all Palio GTX users. ;)

Hope this helps all those facing the following issues.

OEM Oxygen sensor for Fiat Palio 1.6GTX, 1.6 Sport and S1.

    Specifications:
    Overall Length : 630 mm
    Bosch Part Number : 0258006193
    Bosch Short Code : LS6193
Type : Diagnostic Sensor (Post-Cat for OBD Systems)
    Number of Wires : 4
Service Interval : 160000 Kms or 100000 miles

    When to change:

    • It has been reported that some Palios required Oxygen sensor change as early as 66,000 Kms.
    • Usual signs for faulty Oxygen sensor are
      • Very Poor fuel economy in city driving (7-8kmpl instead of 10-11 kmpl)
      • Black exchaust tail pipe
      • Idle RPM stablizing at 1100 rpms after 10 minutes of bumper to bumper traffic instead of usual ~850rpm
Note: It has been observed by us that Palio 1.6 ECU doesn't report errors when Oxygen sensor is faulty. The best bet is to change the sensor.

Thanks For the info it's indeed helpful, I'll get this checked tomorrow(y)
I have also noticed the rpm fluctuation many times, but it is not very consistent. Thought it was due to bad fuel. I haven't noticed anything recently. But anyway will get it checked!
