It is very much intact ENKI. There will be participation from PUG as well. We will have test runs of Palios, GTXs, Puntos and Lineas :D.

Congrats on your car . I am a bit late to congratulate. I was a bit busy due to my exams & I fell in the category of students who like/are made to study only before exams. How is your driving skills going now?

    Thanks Chiranjit31, I get around :)

Guys, I have still not received the policy number or the original documents from the Insurance company - Future Generali in this case.
All I have is a Form 52/Cover note that was given by the dealer over a month ago. Does it take this long?

Very Peculiar and Strange. I got my Insurance Policy a day before the car was registered :). Policies are issued electronically these days and you will get a print out of the same. Talk with them and get to know why it is taking so much of time.

I also received my insurance 2 days after taking delivery. It was done by them for free & it was also through Future Generali . Also I was qouted Rs.21000 for the insurance but the insurance paper showed Rs.11000. When I asked my Sales Adviser, he said that ' if you do it from yourself then you would have to pay Rs.21000 but we have a tie up with Future Generali for the Insurance so we are given this discount'.

I wrote to Future Generali and they replied stating they need 2 weeks to research and revert. However, they sent all the soft copies of the policy the same day and even sent the hard copies by courier; which I should receive in a day or two. I have no clue if they messed up or if the dealer messed up.
The quote was 24K in my case but they paid only 13K and I got the same response from the SA. I guess, they inflate the discount this way. The total discount I got on my 90 HP was 40K on paper, if I reduce the Insurance scam; it comes down to 30K.

It is not scam. The quote of 24k will be right. If you are seeing 13k on the policy, the remaining 11k of discount must have been given by Future Generali to the dealer. When you renew the insurance after a year, you may end up paying more than 13k as you won't get the discount again. Of course you could get NCB if eligible.

If you have a old car still don't want to sell, then convert the old car policy to third party policy and get a NCB certificate. Use this NCB certificate for Punto. My first year renewal was around 7K this way otherwise it could have been 14-15K more.
