Watched the Tamil movie NAAN SIGAPU MANIDHAN.
The first half of the movie was very well made, very stylish, just as you begin to appreciate and say wow comes the second half as rude shock where extra marrital affairs is dealt with in length and breath, unabashady and shamelessly as if to teach the audience about how to go about this. What a shame.Earlier too extra marrital affairs have been shown in Tamil cinema but they would be hushed up in a hurry. Am certain family audience would have walked out of the theatre post interval.
Wish the director had watched the movie with his wife, she would have corrected him.
Neverthe less the movie is still stylish and well made.
Lakshmi menon and Iniya look pretty.
3.5 out of 5 stars for the first half.
-2 stars for the second half
Watched the Hindi movie Queen after a long time of break from Hindi movie viewership. The hero of the movie is Kangana Ranawat. She truly deserves to be called an actor. In a rather old interview on some TV show she was asked to do some acting scene. And within a second she made some facial expressions of various moods, which spoke a lot of her talent.
She has played her role superbly and pretty much the whole movie, the script and direction and whole production team need a hearty applause for their work. The background score is also great and kept the movie from slipping into boredom in select areas.
Completely agree with the imdb rating of above 8.x
heartsent for our mutual benefit .. !
Just now returned from Sathyam complex after watching Mundasupatti [Tamil], a full-length clean comedy from the first frame to the last. Usually, in a crime-thriller, a request would be made not to reveal the suspense and not to miss the first few minutes. For this movie too, one should not miss the last scene and not reveal the climax! My rating is 4 out of 5.
watched Hindi movies holiday and humshakals over last two weekends..
holiday was a very nice movie. It was very gripping. We wanted to get back to our seats soon during the interval so that we don't miss a scene. I would recommend people to watch it.
humshakals was a total disaster. felt like leaving the theater even before the interval. there are very few comedy scenes which would make one laugh..rest of the movie is pretty boring. Better stay away from this one.

Mundasupatti Short Film
This film was made as a short film originally by the same director and later remade as a full-length feature film. Enjoy the short film version here:
Holiday is the remake of 2012 Tamil blockbuster 'Thuppaakki'. I agree that the screenplay is very grippy.
