Here is a question which I carry in my mind every time I drive. Which car owners are the most arrogant drivers? In my experience, Swift owners (especially the VDI ones) and Santro owners are the most arrogant, without any driving manners, changing lanes the way they want, honk madly and are dangerous drivers. I have seen almost no Wagon-R owners to be driving recklessly. Surprisingly, all the BMW and Mercedes owners I see on road drive in a zig-zag-manner in the traffic as if they are driving an auto. Almost all palio, i20, i10 and altos travel in a straight line without a need to overtake in a hurry and seem having good drivers. Surprisingly, I have also found Indica owners (both public and private cars) to be drivers with good manners. Any thoughts?

Indica cars used as taxi are most non-sense persons on Indian roads.

White Swift with Number plate (99.9% of the time) in Devnagari and number starting with MH-14, with "Raje" or "The Great Maratha" or "Saheb" or "Dadancha Ashirwad" written on rear glass.

Agree with Ramesh and Obliex : Swift owners are the clear winners in this category !!

I usually stay away from white cars that have registration plate's in devnagari script.

To answer the first post, I feel that it changes from place to place.
Here the Merc owners are the meekest of the lot followed by VW, Audi, BMW. Beemers are the rashest of the high end lot.
Indica, Qualis, Santro and Swift takes the top spot in dangerous driving.
Isn't displaying number plates in languages other than Arabic an offence under MV act?

Am I in some other country? I haven't come across a rash Swift owner - sure the ddis ones do drive fast but not rash. Taxi Indica , Tavera, Qualis (Worst!!) & to some extent Innova's are quite rash but then they are taxi's so that's kind of expected. Mercedes, BMW 's are among the best driver's - can't blame them, a single scratch will cost them the price of an Alto!

By the way, I have never come across a rashly driven Palio GTX / S10. For the kind of power the car makes, owners seem to be very caring with their cars.
