Missing Grill

    Today morning while on my way to office, a small rock hit the car :hit, I think the front grill got loosen up by the impact. I could sense some difference in the cars handling, pulled over to check that the front grill is missing, little search and found it lying on the road direct in path of a BEST bus :A . The bus just crushed the grill. Now need to get a new grill any ideas on how much the Punto Grill will cost.

    Oh thats bad luck.
    Call dealer and ask the price, not sure anybody has this done before.

    It is strange. Is'nt the grilled should be screwed or glued properly? How it can be loosen up by just a hit of a small rock?

    Too bad.. But this should be easy fix. There is a spare parts price thread and I believe some one has replaced the lower grill. So the price information should be there.

    I expect it to be in the range of 600Rs. I replace right side foglamp grill it was 168Rs.

    Yes. The grill is not screwed together but just fixed with the bumper by a push. I changed the very same grill in my Linea & the TASC guys had a tough time removing the broken grill & in the process paints had peeled off from many places on the bumper surroundign grill.

    The cost of Linea E Pack grill is Rs. 641 + Rs. 200 labour + Taxes = Rs. 942. However, I was charged Rs. 1482/- by SA as systems were not working that time.

    Caution - Ensure you specifically ask TASC on Grill for your Car variant (E Pack or other) as there are separate grills
