    I don't think there's an issue with the fuel station. I get it flled at different places.

    My tjet has clocked about 2000 km so far. FE improves after running 1000km.

    Now, I get about a 9.5 in bumper to bumper driving (1st and 2nd gear rides) and about 11 on slightly open roads (4th -5th gear). On the higway trip, i got about 14.
    Just go easy on the throttle if you want average. My normal driving doesnt exceed 2k on RPM for FE rides.

    Couple of other things which impact FE
    - Check tyre pressure. Running low tends to lower average.
    - Please empty the boot, If you have a habit of driving with stuff loaded in boot.
    - Accelerate and brake smoothly. Jerky driving doesnt help FE.
    - Dont ride clutch.

    @HarishSegar I am getting 10.7 with bumper to bumper traffic. So I guess that's acceptable. I feel releived since I was getting 7.5 in the first 500 kms. I am yet to experience the FE on highway. I will test this the first chance I get. I am a safe and conservative driver (unless I put on my eveil hat). so I guess, I will driving is not an issue. I travel light and maitain the car well. This doesn't seem to be the issue either. It has to be the car breaking the running in period. I am going to be watching the FE pretty closely. Thanks again for your advice.

    @tjetdriver Thats awesome.

    @ansal11 Thats impressive. Thanks for sharing. BTW - Its VERY cold in Noida - 13 degrees is too cold for me.

    Travelled to Tamilnadu, Kerala last weekend. (Blr to Pollachi-Munnar-Thekkady- Theni-Dindigul-Karur-Bhavani-Salem-Blr). Total Kms 1220.
    FE is 14.2 Km/Lt which is good based on the some part of the road travelled in this trip and no of passengers (5 Adults and one child). Now total Km is 2400.
