Gaurav, if your plan is to bring Punto for 6-9 months, you don't need any documents.
Just keep some proof, toll ticket etc, to show when you entered.

You can drive in Bangalore, outside vehicle, for 1 year (or 6 months, not sure), without any issues.

Agree with Ravi! But its better to have the NOC from your local RTO to be on safer side. with NOC you can drive for 1 yr. Apart from the NOC, carrying registration and insurance should be enough.

If you are going only for 6-9 months, AFAIK NOC is not needed

NOC is needed only if you are going to transfer your vehicle to Bangalore. Please do not take NOC as it will be a hassle later on to get it transferred back to Punjab

As others said don't take NOC. Just drive your car to bangalore as its just 6-9 months. If checked by police show them toll receipts and argue.

Driving in KA with KL for almost 2 yrs, caught once for entering bus lane (unknowingly), KL registration was not raised as an issue then.

    Fiat Linea Ignition Keyhole problem

I was facing slight resistance in turning the key,so i followed the commom procedure, took out my can of WD40 and sprayed gently around the keyhole, and left it,came after about 30 mins, and to my horror the key just refused to turn,i was able to do it,but with great difficulty,it takes too much force and i just feel its going to break something.Anyone else faced this?
I havent tried anything after that, should i try any oil?

Spray wd-40 again, instead of waiting turn the key repeatedly until it moves freely. Remove Negative terminal of battery but is not necessary as WD-40 doesnt cause short.
