@DCpunto: Thanks for sharing the information. Is it a petrol or diesel?

This thread is getting overwhelming response.I expect showering of response from all our members who are using(had used) non fiat cars in coming days.

Shouldn't the figures posted above be adjusted for inflation to give a correct picture? :)

Very much true. May be we can provide a chart that gives the multiplication factor for each year or an average multiplication factor that will reflect current equivalent value.
  7. Maruthi zen LX-1999, service costs are unavailable because I was a kid then.
Tata Indica DLS- serviced in a private service station-Cost around 2000-INR everytime. Changed the tyres into Michelin tubeless. Radiator Gasket changed.
Mahindra scorpio- serviced in private service station- costs INR-5000 every service.
    Toyota Innova-Still in warranty period.
My uncle who owned a Skoda Octavia, spent around 20k for every service. Thats the highest I had ever heard in this segment for a regular service[1st paid service.!!].

My Honda City A/T went in for it's 35,000 kms service on 28/11/2012. Got the car back yesterday.

    Following were the Labour charges:
35,000 Kms Paid service Rs. 780.
Battery & Electrical Diagnosis Analyzer with Negitive Rs. 25
Front Brake Pad Replace Rs. 450
    Front Brake Disc Skimming Rs.1,200
    Air Filter Replacement Rs.75.

    Parts Cost was as follows:

    Engine Oil SL10W30 100 ML 36 units X Rs.28.89 per unit = Rs. 1040.40
    Oil Filter Rs.180.49
    Washing Plug Drain Rs. 18.61
    Brake Pad set 3,591.85
    Air/C Element Assy Rs.491.11

Total Invoice after all taxes Rs.8,636

I had no complaints to make. The car runs flawlessly day after day.

The only thing we asked the ASC not to do was wheel alignment & balancing. Rest I let them do what they wanted just to see what they would do :).

It should, Sun. Second year service is one major service for Fiat. They would replace all sorts of oil. Obviously, the cost will be high. You will pay less in your next service.
