    Hello friends,

I'm logged-in after a very long time; didn't notice much activity on the forum either. Hope all is going well with our beloved cars!

I've a previous-gen Linea T-Jet (2013-14 model) with not so much running; just about 15-16K kms in these many years! It's quite less for such a long duration; lockdown helped quite well in keeping the mileage so low, and I've my old Santro too for city runs. Otherwise it has been running brilliantly without any major issue; just some regular wear-N-tear.

Coming back to the topic, earlier I've been getting it serviced at FAAS at Wagholi Pune, but now looks like it's closed. Now we are left with the lone service center Sky Moto at Akurdi Pune; not sure about their work though. Also, when inquired they said it's already booked for next few days; maybe due to Jeep volume.

Can anybody please suggest any other, probably better, place in Pune for T-Jet to get serviced?

Also the tyres need to be replaced badly; still running (with not so much running) on stock; though mostly in city in last 3-4 years. Now a long trip is coming next week, and I don't want to take a chance with those old tyres.

I was planning to go for Michelin PS3/PS4, but looks like not easily available? suggestion where to get those, or any other option for T-Jet?

    Thanks in advance!

Finally, got my Linea serviced at SkyMoto Pune only.

They did descent job but applied few extra things without even asking, like Rodent repellent & Silencer coating. So, need to be careful if we go over there, otherwise need to look for some better option next time.

    Thanks!

Hey @edurgesh , great to know that Tjet is still serving you. I still remember our conversation on this very forum since we both took delivery in Jan 2014 from Pandit.:) However, too less running buddy. And this is coming from me who has hardly managed close to 10k kms a year. :)

Regarding service, go to Wings Auto, Bavdhan and connect with Anil. They are ex-Pandit guys. Its situated just off the Pune-Bangalore highway near Rangla Punjab. Though you will not need it, you can still give my reference if needed.

Did you got your tires changed? What was the cost you finally managed?

Hi Abhishek, nice to hear from you after so long & thanks for the reply! Yes, I remember very well at the time of purchase; I too purchased from Pundit Auto only. My Linea is not much used these days for sure; just 16K kms in 7-8 years. :)

Next time I'll definitely go to them; I think Pundit guys were better than SkyMoto.

Not yet, got busy with the work and our long trip also got cancelled due to work only. Will change sometime next month.

    Thanks! :) :)

    Hello friends,

Finally got the tyres for my Linea T-Jet changed last week!

Continental UC6 - All 4 tyres with WB/WA & new valves costed me Rs. 33,000 total.
The job was done at Darshan Tyres, Hadapsar, Pune branch; they provided the best quote and did a good job.

Did a long trip just last weekend to Bhandardara, and here are my observation:

    1. The tyres have good dry grip; didn't get chance to check wet grip though.
    2. The tyre noise is very low; can hear the Turbo spooling clearly from 2K+ rpm.
    3. Comfort is much better than my old tyres; though those had gone hard with time.

Overall, it's a good upgrade which was much needed!

But, after the tyres change, I'm noticing steering vibrations at speeds over 90-100 km/h, and it keeps increasing with speed. I think earlier it was not there; not sure what may be the reason. Wheel alignment seems fine, because the car goes straight.

Any clue about the reason for steering vibrations as the speed increases?

    Thanks!

Check out the lower arm bushings. I ruined my front tyres when I ignored the steering vibrations at high speed.

I got the tires changed as well from Darshan Tires last weekend, albeit with Baner branch. Looks like I didn't asked for discount since it costed me 33600 plus CC charges(2%). I too went with UC6 and OEM spec. They are Feb 23 manufactured. So far so good :)
