Hello I have had a Fiat Linea (Diesel) for about 2 1/2 years, driven about 22000 km. last month, the clutch slave cylinder gave way while on an outstation trip, and the car had to be towed to the nearest dealer, Wasan at Deonar, Mumbai Problem was fixed under extended warranty, but Wasan people said it was a common problem. I also met another owner who had experienced slave cylinder failure twice within 3 years. Is there a basic design flaw in the slave cylinder? I am no longer confident about long outstation drives in my fiat linea.
