Rishi, that was true for Punto alloys. But Soumen is looking for Linea 16 inch alloys. :)

I am using 15 inch rims and wheelcaps on my punto which were bought from kava. These were brand new when i had received them. Cost was around 80% of sc. Kava guy had told me that they save money on packaging for bigger items. Try asking the price for something small like brake pads and we would be surprised to know that it costs same as in sc.

Here is some proof for the refurbished alloys.

Notice the chips on rim edges and fresh paint. Also, the loss of metal near the lug holes. In addition, there were gum residues from old wheel weights.

They are refurbished. And I can concur on the same. A friend and I ordered 9 alloys from them. Of which 5 were badly bent and all of them were refurbished on top of that. They were apologetic and spoke to them, they assured will have it replaced and sent us 5 new alloys which they said were properly checked. Got them today, first thing I did was go and had them checked, 4 out of 5 had small bents. Dunno what they are going about here, but ain't gonna swing past the likes of myself that easily. I wouldn't trust Kava much people.

One of my friends enquired with Kava few minutes back for Punto's alloy wheel single pice and was told the cost was Rs 4500/- Is this the correct price? Any one bought from Kava recently? Also do they give discounts on exchange of old alloy?

Ghodlur, I would refrain from buying anything from Kava. Your friend might get lucky but is he really willing to take that risk? Better source it from somewhere else or check with someone on the give away thread. You might find something. Else, go with genuine. However, this is my personal opinion. Final decision is yours.

Yeh. They may and soon that alloy will again be sold for Rs. 4500. :D

As told by others, I also suggest to refrain from dealing with Kava.

Pankaj, I thought Kava sold geniune Fiat spares. The other source i.e 99 rpm charges 10K for the same alloy wheel, the price difference it too steep. Anyways will advise my friend.
Very much possible. Thanks for the advise mate.

My dear friend, i would advice you to keep away from them. After having a bad experience with them i realized why their pricing was too good to be true! Not worth it....
