LCD Display panel required -Linea T-Jet FL2014 India

    Dear friends,
My car is Fiat Linea T-Jet Emotion (Model:FL-2014 India).
During this monsoon, the lcd display panel at the center on the dash stop showing data of Km, date, speed, time, etc. all of a sudden during one ongoing trip. It just glows the hazy yellow light while opening the door and engine ON condition. All other meters of speed, fuel, heat/temp, odor, etc works properly and ok. Only the central Digital Display is not working.
    1. Is this central Digital Display LCD panel available? Please show me the source of it.
    2. How to replace it by DIY?
    Regards to all.

Yes. Sourced from old cars, or repaired ones.
Usually costs about 5500/- INR nowadays.

Just google it. You can easily find out.

However, I would suggest getting this done with an expert, as the part is very delicate.
It costed me 600/- for the expert's labour.

Hi, I got a link on youtube by having look at it you can easily remove the whole cluster panel. Prior to this just disconnect the battery cables from the engine bay. You can refer to this link just for how to remove the cluster. Link:
Refer to this video () if you don't get the spare LCD from the old car spare parts market. Here you have to buy some good quality isopropyl liquid and antistatic hand glows before touching the PCB board. Carefully remove the LCD and the strip and clean it with the liquid very gently. and refix it. Take help from some experience electronics repairing person. The video is very detailed one:

While this can be done and might work sometimes, moisture plays a role here. There comes a time when the lcd (and more specifically the wires in the ribbon connectors) finally give up due to the moisture. LCD Replacement will only be the solution.
My lcd also worked for a certain time with just cleaning it, I was weirdly thinking about sticking a moisture absorbing silica gel inside the Cluster. :joyful: But it finally gave up. And I too carried out some operations on the ribbon connectors, giving the LCD no chance to come back to life.
