For last few months I have observed kit..kit..kit sound when I press the clutch completely down and hold it there with force. It happens when I press the clutch completely when in neutral. Sound stops even if I release the petal by even a few mm. Absolutely no sound of any kind after the gear is engaged or clutch is released. What may be the issue? Does it need immediate attention or can I live with it for some time (next scheduled service is in Jan-2016).

    Hi Ravi,

Are you referring to the sound like coming from behind the Air filter assembly ? i'm also feeling the sound when clutch pressed during idle ,in neutral. ?

I am not sure which sound you are referring to. It is continuous kit.kit.kit sound at the rate of 2 kit.kit sounds per second.

Clutch chirping. Clutch thrust bearing replacement is necessary

Probably you are right though it does not sound like the clutch chirping sound I heard in some youtube videos. But somewhat close to that - therefore 100/100 points for the diagnosis :D. I have to get it checked and fixed during my service scheduled for next month. Happy to service it before its birthday because I have clocked more than 10k within in a year for the first time at the end of 6th year. I will get it investigated during the service.
