    Hey,

I got a pete's box for my punto recently and it’s a pretty vfm mod, nothing extreme though.

The 1st gear acceleration is still...pathetic, 2nd gear is a little more revvable, switch to third and boom you go, 70-80 in no time, 95-100 is a struggle, switch to 4th gear and 120-130 in no time and finally to 5th, easiley goes upto150-155, though ive topped 170-72
One more interesting thing that i noticed is while driving at say 10-20 kmph on the third gear, the car pulls up to 70-80 in no time, the turbo lack has decreased, if not disappeared!

I'm currently running the box on stock settings, might move a tad further after a few k kms
Also replaced the stock air filter with k&n filter

Next mod is gunna be a good set of rims and tires, trying to source OZ rims(98 pcd) from uk,
    Check this out:

    Till then, boom!

    @ infernal.
Cool! The third gear driveability is very useful in city traffic.
How much did it cost you the Petes box + K&N
Did you use a stock replacement from K&N or a different (conical) one?

Punto is already tuned best for performance and FE. i think there is no need for pete's box.

Best tuned for FE i'd say, for performance i'd say its as slow as a tortoise
Compare it with a swift ddis, i20 crdi or ford figo, if you havent already and u'll be amazed how slow the punto is.
With the tuning box, it at least feels at par with rest of the cars in the segment

Also, theres a difference between need and want! Want for more power i mean!
