Congrats on the Ocean Blue Punto.

On the Jopasu Duster, you should have bought the Jopasu Kit which will have a microfiber cloth, microfiber glove sort of thing, morph, duster and shampoo as well for 999 in Reliance Auto Zone.

Puntosat, your OB PUnto looks fantastic and you have made it even better with those cosmetic mods. Wish you many happy miles on it. Could you please post a picture of the internal button installed to activate the fog lamps?

Aadya service guy was saying ACTIVE verdion has no support to even do after market fog loamps fitting without modifying wiring & it will devoid warranty..

But they have found one way to do it...anyone else who do it...will be surely devoid of warranty and FIAT has warned them multiple times..

May be others dealers know of a way too...but be careful..do not get it done outside..if u r unsure...wil post pic soon...

First of all congrats on the car. How has been the change to Yokos been ? How is its performance in wet?
I am planning to change my tires. The JK's run of of grip very easily & are too noisy.
    My replies in bold.

Yoko A- drives are super good....

Dry grip is superb...I used to skid many times when I let go of clutch at signals in JK tyre and while parking at my home (slight hump before gate)..never happens in A-drives..

No significant mielage reduction..infact getting 20kmpl in city for past 2 days..(sedate driving)..

It rained last week when I was driving back to B'lore...tyres were good this time as well..but YOKO's are definitely better in dry...

In wet it streamlines lot of water with high intensity due to long running stripes on tyres...

How much did the Yoko's cost per type? What payback did you get for the old tyres? I have been quoted around Rs.4000 for the A-drives but the buyback for the JK tires was only Rs.1000 per Tyre when the ODO was around the 1000km mark.

    Guys,

I am just back from B'lore - Hampi trip...

Highlight was I could hit 160 kmph multiple times in my 76 hp Punto....

Other highlight is completed 3000 kms in 35 days !!!!

Will post up a detailed post of my travel experience soon..

Discovered that > 3000 rpm and above 120 kmph there is one more zone where Punto performs like a monster...I had an average of 92 kmph till Chitradurga....:)

    I feel LIBERATED !!!!
