Accept my Hearty congrats on purchase of GP 2012. I like the color very much. It is great color and suits GP a lot. Can you confirm that you get Distance to Empty & real time mileage feature in GP 1.3 MJD once again.

I can confirm real time indicator and distance to empty indeed exists in my car..ACTIVE...

Also, avg mileage/trip,avg speed per trip etc also exists...

I use it everyday....

My FE in city in medium traffic is around 16.5 and in heavy traffic around 13.5..done 400kms till now...

Other ACTIVE owners plz confirm above...

Yes, you can pick it up from reliance Autozone at Shantinagar (double Road) or Basavanagudi.. It was Rs. 450/- 2 weeks ago.

 

Color is a very personal choice and is not open to debate. You may think my OB 90HP is the worst looking car and I may think exactly opposite. Either way, nobody's opinion matters as I may think horribly about your car color while you totally drool over it.

 

Ownership update: 500 kms

1.Completed 500 kms in a week. ..and I should be doing 2k/month for next 2 years atleast...
2.Change OEM tyres to Yokohama A drive 185/70/R14..4.k/tyre..got 2.5k for old tyre...including balancing/alignment etc..drove for about20kms..and they feel much better than ny OEM tyres already..
3. Mileage around 14k in very heavy B'lore traffic and around 17 in less traffic...will be hitting NH48 next weekend..to check highway mileage..
4.As expected amazing handling, steering feedback superb..best thing is the way it handles tight & long curves...
5. OB color liked by most (90%)..they drool over it...
7.Using Motorola roadster for Bluetooth support & works great...have to take an hours call everyday while coming back from office...
6.All accessories I ordered came yesterday (chrome grill/handles etc)..went for fitment to Aadya...tdy..but was overloaded with cabs today as it was weekend...so just came back...
8.Very difficult to maintain OB color...my area is dusty nowadays due to road works which does not help either..once I give it a wash..its like no other.... glistening beauty!!

 

Bought Jopasu duster from Reliance Auto Zone (Basaveshwaranagar)yesterday...Rs 470..

Works like magic on the heavy dust on my car everyday....MUST buy for anyone who want to dust off their car in 2-3 mins flat...

Also,had been to Aadya on Saturday..one mechanic gave an explanation for long clutch in Punto as below:

1.Punto does not use cable mechanism for clutch but uses oil pump mechanism..hence the long clutch..he recommended full depress of clutch on every gear change for best results..also said when u put on reverse gear ..wait for 3 secs before moving ur vehicle..as enegine rotation direction needs change...latter one makes sense..but I di'nt know about first one..can anyone confirm...

On a Saturday Aadya was a mess with tonnes of cabbies ....just came back without fitting any accessories.

NOTE:I am not blaming cabbies above..its their livelihood and weekend is the time when they are free..would also discourage anyone from looking down upon them..for us it may be a luxury/passion etc...but for them its a means of their livelihood...lets respect it. Saying this because I have seen some posts where cabbies were talked upon very lowly..lets understand them.Bear by preach please

How if you can show us some more pics after the tyre upgrade & the accessories & the interiors, so that we can keep our office work aside & drool the newest colored Punto.

We are all picture hungry people, you know.
