Hi guys, Today as I happened to visit FNG, i observed a Ford Figo 1.4 TDCI, which was there for a oil change, and strangely I noticed some white smoke/vapor coming out of the oil dipstick, as it was removed to check to the oil level. something like this in the below video. Is this normal for diesel engines ? I was of the impression that this is blow-by, and it is bad. Usually this is taken care by the PCV (Positive Crank Ventilation Valve)/Oil Breather system. Does the multijet have any PCV / Oil Breather ?
