    Hi guys,

Today as I happened to visit FNG, i observed a Ford Figo 1.4 TDCI, which was there for a oil change, and strangely I noticed some white smoke/vapor coming out of the oil dipstick, as it was removed to check to the oil level.
something like this in the below video.

Is this normal for diesel engines ? I was of the impression that this is blow-by, and it is bad.
Usually this is taken care by the PCV (Positive Crank Ventilation Valve)/Oil Breather system.

Does the multijet have any PCV / Oil Breather ?

Yes all cars have PCV. MJD does have a crankcase ventilation. On turbo cars its forced venting and not like petrol through the PCV valve.
Do you see there is a big pipe coming from behind the engine and going to your intake hose just near the turbo?
Thats the PCV which comes via oil seperator
    asimpleson and prabhjot like this.
