Well, I think the punto's ecu will be the safe bet rather than linea,
about to call kava motors, and lets hope for the best,

Even if you get Punto's ECU for 90HP version, there are other modifications needed, also to engine.

Don't buy the ECU unless you are sure that all the modifications are doable.

sorry for the late update guys,

well firstly i called the 99rpm.com they are under their revamp work and will take some time, price of punto ecu is 25 k plus, he also said the coding would be required to be done at dealer,

then it was time for kava motors, he said the ecu will be new and will cost something around 10.5 k, and some sort of scanning will be required to run the ecu in your car which can be done at FASS,

then finally visited the dealer from where i purchased the car, explain him the whole scene, they said the fiat will ask for your car's vin and chassis no., untill then no ecu is dispatched from their side, and they dont do recoding at dealer level it is only done at fiat factory,

finally at the end of the day i am like :A..

everything seems to be in dark now !!!!!!!

Also this thing putted my thought of DIY ECU remap into pipeline, which i developed later !!!!!!

Your dealer is talking crap the ecu is coded at dealer end. Fiat asks for VIN no to ensure correct ECU is dispatched E-III/E-IV or other hardware differences.

I was informed their ECU program is different. Do check that first.

I think (not sure) but Maruti uses their own ECU. When you talk of maps there might be other things also that might need compatibility with the ECU program.
