My IDV for the New Car was Rs 503889/-

Bajaj Alliance has no-cashless tie-up with my nearby FASS. But BA ppl are says "Receive 75% on account payment when cashless facility is not available."
    This is their Quotation.

For BA the IDV value is 4.74L with 11.8K prem and still in nego.
    - ts B2B with Engine protector,
    - Driver covered for 2L and Co-passengers 1L per.
    - Third party damage 7L.
    - Zero Dep
    - NO cashless in my FASS
    - NO NCB protection
    - NO ADD ON with Consumable
    - No Loss of personal

Where-as Future Generali is giving 4.53L IDV and their prem range from 9K- 15K based on Add-ons. Called their customer care for Increasing the IDV and they said they can't provide from there. HAve to call or visit local Future Generali office. Upon calling them had bad experience.

Below Quotation is from my dealer. They have a cashless tie-up.

I think BA is much better, Good IDV with better prem and ADD-ON.

Quite surprised to see FG offering 50% discount. Are there any hidden terms and conditions which you may have overlooked? Good for you. Did you renew online or through dealer/agent?

Thats the reason you should always buy Insurance on your own from outside rather than from the dealer. They literally fleece you in the name of Free insurance. Insurance which is worth Rs 18K ws being passed to you for Rs 35K which means dealer still got a profit of Rs 17K. Now that the deal is final, I think it should be ok to continue with FG for the first year. During renewal, suggest you to compare Insurance online and then buy, you will be in profit then.

@Sreekanth.ng , Talk to FG rep and change the comprehensive to zero dep, even if you have to pay 3-4k extra. May be the dealer will not allow or agree such an option exists like in my case, but you can do it, which i came to know later.

And also always buy zero dep. for as long as you can get it or afford it. Generally for the first 5 years they all offer it.

    I have a situation here.
My car meet with an accident and it was driven by my brother and right now I am staying in France.
So if we want to claim the insurance should i personally sign the claim form or on behalf whether my brother can do it?
Because if the presence of owner is compulsory then should we wait till my return?
Or as a workaround can I send the scanned copy with signature.
Please someone help me I am now in the deep trouble.
    Thanks in advance.
