Request you to elaborate on your investigations and survey when you have time.
As you know we fiatians have the habit of reasoning our way out till we are satisfied :). just a one liner is hardly of any help.

    1. Life long zero dep - not like other companies who offer only for 5 years.
    2. Unlimited zero dep claims - others allow only 2 times
    3. Most ethical in claim settlement - no natak, no nakhras.
    4. Free TVS road side assistance.

I hope the above points easily prove that Royal Sundaram is the best as of now

When I took the insurance from RS for my Wagon R they told me that I cant go for B2B if the car is more than 5 years old.

Thats news to me. Can you let us know if this is mentioned anywhere on the website? Because I can see on their website zero dep being offered for max of 5 yrs. Also website doesnt mention about unlimited claims. I do agree with you regarding the claim settlement, absolutely no hassles.

they do have unlimited claims. this was confirmed when I was in process of renewing my insurance for punto. however they dont disclose the fact that in case the claim us more than 2 the premium next time . Would be exorbitantly high..

    (sorry for cross posting..)
Its that time where i need to renew the insurance.
So far there hasn't been any claims at all but due to some reasons i had to get the RC changed into my name (from my dad's) .
    Now i've got a quote from Bharati AXA for 17k (B2B) .

    Here are a few questions...
I really looked at B2B because most of whom i spoke to say they got it .
My car is a '09 model and has claims made only once .
If i dont go in for B2B i'm sure i can save up to 6000 rs on the insurance.
Is it really worth going for it?

What can i really claim in B2B that i cannot with the normal comprehensive insurances?
Advice at the earliest would be helpful as a guy from BAxa is coming tomorrow to my office.

B2B gives you peace of mind at time of a claim as you jave spend only 1k from your poxkwr and eest everything is borne by the insurance company. whereas as in a comprehensive package you have to shell out 50% of the cost of plastic and rubber parts. .

B2b is always recommended when car is 3 or less than 3 year old.. the additional cost is justified as the car ia relatively new.. in my view a car above 3years shoild opt for comprehensive unless you have sone 50% ncb which theb makws b2b still attractive.

17k is expensive considering the fact that tour car is 09 model while the premium for my car which is 12 model was 17650
