Changing 6*9 with 5.5..to much of thump and boom boom, given you also got 12"inch thunder?
And what went wrong with kicker cs600.2?

Regarding the 6*9 it's more do with the rattles from the custom made MDF board, Other the Morels are sweet and never overpower the boom boom.

Kicker - Well they are bright according to me. Also wanted to get some more thump at the front. After listening the Poly glass I'm sold, However I'll definitely do the dampening before ruling the Kicker's out completely.

I have Alpines in my ride. Unable to remember model name & all the details, I will upload it tommorow. Costed in Rs. 11,000. One set goes in Front Doors & another in goes BASS FX wooden parcel tray.

    Overall budget: 32k
Dampening : Front doors : American Dynamat
    Wiring : Audison

I am really pleased with the output. My initial plan included a Solid4. However, the output from the solid4 was pathetic.
We tried the same amp with a Kenwood HU in another car and the GT5s in that car sounded better than my Polyglas. Decided to dump the Solid4. Tried another HL input amp, the Auditor. Now the Focal compos came to life.
Currently, I can go all the way to the max volume without any distortion/cracking.

My previous listening volume used to hover around the 12 mark. Now its 20-24 steady and sounds too good to believe.
