ICE upgrade for Punto 90HP (with minimal hassle)

Hi, I am planning to get a Punto 90HP soon. I took the test drive but I found the ICE a bit of a disappointment. So I will be getting the ICE upgraded.

I will keep the HU for Blu & Me. I want an amp, front comps, rear coaxials and a sub. I heard "Plug and Play" Amp from Blaupunkt is minimal hassle.
1. What is a "Plug and Play" amp?
2. I suppose the HU has only speaker level output. Do these types of amps take speaker level input?
3. What about powering the amp? Do we have to take a separate power from battery?
4. Does the amp turn on and off with key?
5. Any recommended model?
6. Please give any reference of a good, I mean *the best*, ICE installer for Punto/Linea - in Bangalore - I really do not want people messing with the innards of my car (bad experience of an ICEing of an earlier i10). The guys need to be professional and responsible workmanship and not some JC Road junkie with screwdrivers. Must have done Puntos/Lineas earlier. Must take personal interest in installation and not leave it to his matric fail apprentices.

Do not go Pioneer/Sony/JBL

These Pio/Sony & JBL all are only profit making MNC
Kenwoods are best & maintenance free as compare to other MNC

A plug and play amp, as the name suggests is one that fits into a HU and doesn't need any extra modifications. Blau PnP is ideal for E+ HU.

If you use Blau PnP, you can forget about these problems. If you use any other amp, you will need to use a line converter that will convert the speaker level output to line in for the amp.

Separate power will be required from battery IIRC.

4. Does the amp turn on and off with key?
Yes, whether Blau or any other (when used with line converter).

5. Any recommended model?
Depends upon personal music taste. You will need to strike a balance between taste, connectivity and compatibility.

Yes Amol bhai, I agree, Kenwood has the best sound quality and trouble free. In my i10, I had a JVC and then I had to exchange with Kenwood because JVC was giving trouble - music skip. Now Kenwood is running trouble free.

But In Punto 90 HP, it is emotion pack only, and I do not want to remove the stock HU. I think it is Blaupunkt because many people have successfully attached Blaupunkt PnP amp to it.

 

I mean, I only want a PnP amp. Are there too many models in Blaupunkt itself? I want to attach 2 front comps, 2 rear coaxials and 1 sub. Please recommend some model. Any place to source it from?
