    Hi Varoon9999,

Hearing from you after a long time.

Nitin has given most of the answers. However, I can understand your point of view about retaining the HU. If you are planning that, then the PNP makes sense. If fitted properly (Nitin will be the man to guide you), you will not have to go in for a high low converter which will cost around 2k.

I tend to agree with Nitin that asking a friend to carry the sub from 'abroad' will ensure that he will not be your friend after that. Buy the sub locally. Between Phew & Nitin, they will be able to guide you correctly about fitment etc. I think that 'Driven' seems the only option left, since 'Gyro' has reportedly closed shop.

    Regards
    Johnny

Sir biggest question is aapka budget kya hai ??

as at the end of it I think you will end up spending more money if u keep the oem headunit. If u want value for money then i guess u'll have to keep a heavy heart and dump the oem headunit. As for the equipment buying it from outside india wont give u any sort of warranty, so incase of trouble it'll b quite bothersome to get it fixed, so better fix to buyin stuff from india if u want warranty and peace of mind.

Any particular equipment u have ur heart sold onto??

Hehe, how does it matter? Now that he is under your shagirdi, he will empty his pockets for sure. "Me running for cover"

    Very true.

Yeah, the OEM HU. Varoon bhai, for once listen to us, and dump that crap HU.

How is "cerwin-vega" component speakers? Any experience? ICE guys is telling its better than Rockford Prime series.

Planning to do below set-up - Put your suggestions
    - AMP - I have Blaupunkt THA555 PnP
    - Front - Rockford Prime 6.5" component (cost ~5.7K)
    - Sub - JBL/Rockford 10" (cost ~3.5K +1K for box)
    - Some damping (cost ~600-700)
    - Rear - Rockford 5.25" coaxial in rear (cost ~3K)

Total - ~15K (including installation and other wiring etc.)

This quote I got from EVO. Guys in this range, can you suggest any other options.

I listen to mainly FM, Hindi movie songs.

Avoid the RF sub, it lacks big time in the bass department

    Point taken phew.
    How other things looks?

I might visit some other shop, but EVO is kinda recommended in Bangalore.

How much Bull comps costs? Is it better than RF comps?

Bulls also cost around the same as RF. I do find bull better but its down to everyones listening tastes, try auditioning both before u buy. Other things look good

just one question y not comps in the rear. They are far better than addin co-axials.

    Thanks phew.
No idea. I read everywhere comps in front and coaxials in rear. Also, mostly i am only person in car. Even I was thinking to leave rear speaker as it is, but ICE guy suggested that might distort the sounding.
