    I may be OT...
Which is why FIAT fails in sales. When you launch aproduct ahead of times, you must do the A&M(advertising and marketing) much ahead of it and create a felt need in the market. Dont know whether FIAT ever did this! Much before many of us were born, FIAT had 1.6 and 1.9. Now, when all other automakers have 1.6, FIAT doesn't have one at least for the sake of it. What's the point in saying "My great grand father had an elephant"?

The car is getting it fluids replaced over the weekend. Power steering oil container had a leak which lead to damage of Lower arm bushes some how. Seems like you just can't replace the bushes without cutting and welding the lower arms. So heading to GP Road this weekend to source the lower arms, Vignesh has informed me about a German made Lower arms available which allows us just to change the bushes here after.

Teky - How old is your Punto? You don't take it to TASS?

This is for GTX mate, all work is done outside. Punto will be the same after the warranty expires.

Hummm that's useful input on lower arm bushes ... Teky, hope you have researched enough on this if anything else other than FIAT recommended to source. I mean have you considered it leading to some other steering complication? Pls keep this factor in mind, instead i would personally advise to stick with the stock.

Anyways, steering oil leakage & being ignored by a person like you is totally unexpected. May be one the times when going really get's tough. Never mind, be conscious about oil levels in the future.

That's a lots of stuff for your Punto. Cool..! Keep us updated on progress, I am sure it will be a good learning for all of us.

Enki - even your dreams are on a Punto I guess, as I've already quoted this is for the GTX including the lower arms.
