That is craziest bunch of FIATians on the move. You guys are awesome!
I read the whole post very carefully, enjoyed it but couldn't regather, who was driving whose S10, whose Punto & whose Linea:A? You guys were swapping them every kms or what:confused:? That's what happens when too many FIAT's are on the move. One would be forced into illogical desire of driving all of them at once. Great going, god bless!

There are not many things left in the world which brings the inner baby out which everyone of us has. It's the baby side of everyone that sees no logic, gives crap about rationality & sense only passion & love. FIAT is one of those things that manage this. By the way, that Yellow fever is on my desktop for indefinite duration:cool. One problem though, you shouldn't have trimmed Satya's wings & left him flown away in S10. It's a joy to see a FIATIAN who is one entity with his car.
    Thanks for this wonderful post:wow!

Wow wow wow.. Linealover, i am just awestruck with your narration.. Simply awesome and brings out the passion for Fiat within you..hats off..And more importantly the drive.. One to cherish.. A 10 year old car effortlessly revving to glory and the needle climbing 140 and 150 like an rpm meter.. Man, am in love. Many people would have realized what a GTX can do, that day. And your company on the GTX made me understand what FIAT means to you and of course to all of us. LONG LIVE FIAT.

Teky when are you planning the performance mods, we need a car that can just keep going like a rocket until the speedo gets over and may be continue in a new speedo.. Am talking 240-250 here..:D

And as usual our speedu Ramesh gave me some adrenaline rush just by seeing the way he was driving the Punto.. Teky, How did you manage to sit with the speedu Ramesh?

Thanks Speedu Ramesh, LineaLover and Teky, you guys are simply awesome.

Congratulations, teky. Had I known of your Bangalore visit, I would have extended invitation to all you folks to visit my home for a Palio-Punto-Linea meet.:)

Yes Satya!! Nothing else satisfies than revving naturally aspirated pure petrol head & especially if it's in a GT-X from FIAT:cool.
    Damn you fuel costs!

Read the post once again! Linealover you better change your profession. I owe a big thanks to you all three - linealover, ramjn and master Sathya, hadn't you guys came along I wouldn't have made back to Chennai in that ease. You guys made the day!

Special Thanks to MN - Mahesh Natarajan of PUG, Vigneshram who answered my countless calls, Vijay from PUG who is helping me get the car back in shape and fellow member cvanandh who is our Palio consultant. Without the support from you all guys it would be impossible for me to pick the GTX.

Another special Thanks to my wife who funded the Purchase:D

I still find Palio looking miles better than any hatch in India, It has aged very gracefully. If only Ramesh had given me ride daily I wouldn't have wanted the GTX at all

Awesome - This guy can drive anything with wheels! What was the speed your Splendor was traveling when you went back home

True words man, So True, She is just so demanding - But I'm fine with that. When her red-line everybody on the streets go aweeeee!

Very true, All my friends asked the same question to me why another Fiat. I just smiled - I can't really answer them and prove the logic. You've to drive it to believe it and hence gave my keys to another friend, he drove it and is now in search of GTX

    Wish it gets cured soon

First hot hatch? Where is the second - I can't believe Fiat gave such a car 10 years back and plonks a puny 1.2 on an even heavier Punto.

Sure let's catch up cvanandh. There is some impending work to be done on the car and should be done in 1st week of April.

Thanks Sathya. No performance mods as of now, would need to get the front suspension fixed before trying anything. I Still remember the Fiesta incident and do you think still we need performance mods?

Thanks Ravi ji - This was all in tight schedule as we wanted to return the same day as folks had some other commitments. We shall do it sometime later.

My father is cribbing out now

Actually Enki, GTX was giving 14-15km/lt for all te redlining we did. Sweet isnt? My T-jet doesnt bulge beyond 12-13 max... if I drive it the way it is meant to be driven.

And Teky - Is there anything like - "This Power is enough". It was a Fiesta that day, and a Q7 V12 tomorrow :) Game?
