Frankly speaking, I haven't noticed a drastic change. That can be because I am not a good observer of these minute details. But Linea is a different car with different dynamics and dimensions. May be I would have noticed the difference a bit if I were to drive a raised GC Punto. But again, my Punto always ran on lower profile tyres compared to the OEM ones and hence had further lesser GC.

Handling was good in Linea, though Vj found lack of sharpness in the feed back and blamed the soft tyres to be responsible for it. I felt the ride very plush, thanks to 195/65 section tyres. There was no bumpiness what-so-ever and handled to my liking. I particularly loved the drive in Ghat section, where the tyres were screaching as I tried to push it harder. But the car never lost its line and stuck to the road like a train to the track. Never-the-less, Punto IMHO is more agile and better to handle, in swaying between the traffic. But Linea is more comfortable.

Agree Linea is more comfortable than a Hatch (Driven both Palio and Punto on highways)

Minor Correction: All the above beach pictures are at the Gokarna Beach near the town and not the Paradise beach.
