Thanks shams. I will check with policy bazaar people.
A bugger from L & T Insurance offered me Zero Dep Insurance for my Punto 90HP 2011 (July) for Rs. 27,000. boxer:shocked
I got quote from Bharati AXA, Royal Sundaram & TATA AIG which almost closer to Rs. 16000 which is acceptable. :up
Referring to my earlier posts, I think this time I might go ahead with SBI Insurance. This is 2nd year insurance and by default previous was FG. SBI has quoted @ 16k for 6L idv BtoB policy. FG insurance guy is following up constantly and has come down to 16k from initial 18k. He is like, its better to go with FG as it has tie up with Fiat; claim process will be easy. Not sure about this! Yet to make a final decision.

Seems like Hyson Motors ( Kochi) has tie up with United India Insurance and also offer Cashless facility and offer Bumper to bumper( 0 dep policy)
Model: 2011 Linea 1.3 MJD EMotion Pk
IDV Value: Rs 720,000/-
Premium: ~Rs 12650/-
NCB: 50% included
Charges at the time of Claim: Rs 2000/ claim
National Insurance - Bumper 2 Bumper ( 0 dep Policy)
IDV Value: Rs 700,000/-
Premium: Rs 12,309/-
NCB: 50% Applicable included
No Cashless facility
Claim charges: Rs 1000 ( not sure)
I feel mere 340 buck is not a problem as UI insurance has cashless facility which is a big plus over National where i will have to claim and them reimburse the amount
Can someone help me choose. I am confirming with the UI if passangers and paid drivers are covered in the quote. Is there anything i should check apart from these?
I need to renew my insurance for my 2012 punto, as i claimed for the windshield, the NCB is 0% and FG is charging 20727 INR; which is way too high as compared to others.
I called a few companies and the following is the quote i got.
Tata aig :
Voluntary excess : 0
IDV : 528000
Pre : 16005
IDV : 544000
voluntary excess: 0
b2b / 0% depreciation: 20000
Iffco tokio :
premium : 16583
After obtaining the promo code from the toll free number and VE of 2500 INR: 14948 INR
Premium for 0% dep: 20118
comprehensive premium : 14929
1000 INR compulsory to the workshop on any claim
after applying voluntary excess of 2500 - 12427 INR
premium : 13091 INR
0% depreciation: 17175 INR
after adding VE of 5000 : 15100 INR
changed the IDV: 531335
premium : 12843
0% depriciation: 16724
Now i am inclined towards Bajaj for their premium after adding VE of 2500/-INR is only 12427/-INR.
What do you guys say?
pronoy check with bajaj allianz again and tell them about my insurance. I got IDV 612000/- and with a voluntary deductible of 2500/- my premium was 9473/- which is way too less than what you are quoting. In fact berkshire insurance who is an authorized insurance provider for bajaj allianz quoted the value what you are mentioning.
Well, I am not receiving NCB as i had claimed it for the glass in the last month.
The car is July 2012 manufactured.
Hey guys, I have the following quote from Royal Sundaram's website. which I think is offering reasonable rates as compared to others.
I need help in deciding which one to choose.
A little background
Punto 1.3 Dynamic July 2012.
Claimed once for Windshield so I'm at 0% NCB for renewal.
Future Generali is charging 20K for a comprehensive policy.
Quote from Royal Sundaram's Website:
IDV : 579040 (+5%)
Windshield waiver (If glass breaks, no claim bonus will not be affected)
premium without glass waiver : 13107
IDV: 526400 (system calculated)
premium : 17336
premium without 0% dep : 12303
IDV: 447440 (-15%)
premium : 11460
Premium with "return to Invoice" : 12867
Premium with "0% dep & return to invoice" : 16134
Premium with "0% dep & return to invoice & windshield waiver" : 16436
RS is offering unlimited claims and quite a few services including towing, Road side assistance etc.
I am more inclined towards the last, can someone tell me if reducing the IDV causes any issues.. please keep in mind i have selected "Return to Invoice" which will fetch me 6.25 Lacs(ex-showroom price) if the car is a total loss.
my car insurance expiration is due on 29th-June-2013, Currently its with Future general. Since its a first year and I have not claimed any till now. So I am planning to stay\renew with future general for this year and mostly i will change the provider after next year. i got details given below.
My car is 2012 model delivered in Aug-2012
IDV: 600000 (earlier I got IDV as 570000, then I asked to increase IDV)
Premium with NCB: 12040
I am new and don't have idea what to deal with. Could anyone help me to do best, during my renewal process?</SPAN>
Hello Testdrive, do checked out my previous post on this page, which contains all the quotes offered by the companies.. now as you have never claimed on your existing policy, you will get a NCB, so the premium would be lesser than what i have stated.
