I think what Ganges meant is that ABS would have increased the braking distance by reducing the number of inches.

Hmm. I will open a separate thread for the ABS and EBD. We may need to discuss more about this. There are lot of misconceptions around this ABS. I am no expert in this area too :).

Yep, agree with Gurjinder here. One can be trained to utilize ABS effectively. For the person who first time comes across ABS violent pulse in vehicle, it will terrify him. Also the biggest advantage according to me is that steering is still functional & one can get away from impact line. A skidding car's steering stops working & no option but left to almighty hoping that it will stop before the impact.

Self educating on ABS effective use is a "must" otherwise it's hardly good than a non-abs.

Most of my queries are solved. I am now more confident that I have chosen a right and the best product in this category. Yesterday though I was so close to Concorde I couldn't go to there, hope today I will get some free time to finalize the matters.

Till then I would like to continue comparing/reviewing other cars too in this category.

Pls proceed. I also have some inputs that i am direly willing to share. I also didn't find any ABS related special thread, correct me if i am wrong. It a life saver & no better training than get to know the facts on sheet & learn them by creating artificial conditions for yourself. Doesn't matter if one has to even try some insane braking intentionally which is not required & people take it as just crazy stuff. It is fatal for the drums/discs & tires but the things learnt can save from unbelievable situations.
