    Hi
I have 15 year experience of fault finding
Iam not a Auto Engineer but holds all essential knowledge.
Myself Amol Mane is an Self-ECU that checks all things at every seconds while driving.

I have also good knowledge about acoustics also.

I checked Tech.Spec. of car audios & varified on norms of Acoustics .
I found that only Kenwood Car Audio is grandpa of all Head Unit.

    Hi
    Additional things are as below

I am a B.Com. degree holder. In 2002 I went to Pune & joined Coaching classes of Mr.Avinash Dharmadhikari (Ex.I.A.S.) for Civil Service exam.
    In 2003 I selected in Co-operation Dept.(Govt.of Maharashtra) as Co-operative Officer Grade-1
    In 2008 I promoted as Asstt.Registrar Co-operative Societies (Class-2) Gazzetted Officer.

Iam a hardcore fan of Fiat Cars since my childhood from Premier Padmini to Fiat Punto Multijet.

I did Computer Hardware course when I was at Pune

Some time I think If I would have done Auto Engineering then I would have definatly joined FIAT
Some people maintain the car in the piont of its asthetics only. But I never beleive in that formula.
To keep engine in healthy condition is my hobby.
I will be happy If I get opportunity to solve any technical problem of other members. :wow

    Amolmane,

It is a pleasure to have you amongst us and have your valued inputs especially with such FIAT enthusiasm . I respect your experience in academics as well and trouble shooting ability.of automobiles.

Could you please share with us as to how you manage to keep the car engine healthy ? Do you caress the car with your gentle throttle feed, and how gingerly do you shift gears ? Any additives you feed in the engine oil or do you use premium diesel ? Though the MJD is a proven engine worldwide, a little extra care would no doubt help to enjoy the engine for extra miles and extract the smoothness like hot knife in butter. !

I fully agree with you when you mentioned that it is very important to have a great engine health along with spanking condition exteriors for full vehicle ownership satsisfaction. Every persons observation is valuable.

    Once again welcome to TFI

    Abdul

    Yes !

    1) I never goes beyond the max.gear ratio while pressing throttle.
    2) There is no car in world, which fly as soon as you press rapidly. (Not sure about Formula 1 etc.)

    3) Let the engine take its own time,& then you can give rapid throttle & then see the differance.
    4) I Press the throttle as per rise in RPM & Toruque. Once I croos a specific RPM then I give strong input.
    5) I Never use Premium fuel.As it blocks the precise holes of Injectors.
    6) I never use any additive.
    7) At the time of part replacement,I always change it in pairs. e.g. Headlamp Bulb,Struts, Clutch Assly (Complete)
    8) Maruti vehicles shows all engine error.Fiat does not. So I always scan ECU for errors at the time of visit to ASS for some minor works. Because in Fiat Engine,Malfunction Light does not shows all error. Some errors are bypassed from Engine Light.
    9) If you are using Multijet then you should follow Rule :- Run the engine for min.1 before stopping at Highway.

I surprised that FIAT has not mentioned this point. Beside this TATA & Maruti have mentioned about Quadrajet & DDiS in their mannual about this Turbo Rule.
