Was buried under work every since I came back from Ladakh. Found the Google group to be dead and then Amogh shared the link of this forum. So, as soon as I got some time, I'm here. For those who don't know me (of my id isn't known to them). I'm Navendu from Pune and own a Red Punto 1.4 EPack.

I can safely say that I love motorized vehicles. Be is scooter/motorcycle/car. My entry into this beautify world was a bit late, in 1998 when I bought my own LML Nv Spl. Since then I owned Premier Padmani (on which I learned how to drive) and carbed Esteem. In between I used my dad's Indica V2. Though I sold off the three cars but I never sold any of the two wheelers I bought (Suzuki Fiero, Bullet Electra, RX135 and recently acquired HH Karizma). Along with these bikes, I'm also taking care of my friend's HH CBZ. Now before people think that I'm into business of renting bike's and all, its not. I use them for my little bit of traveling I do. So along with touring, my recently acquired hobby is photography and I'm trying to learn a thing or two about it. More about all of this on my site

Until recently (my two kids were big enough - younger one is 1.5yrs old) I never felt a need for a car but last year June I decided I need to get one and I almost booked a silver Swift Vxi+Abs, though Palio 1.6 remained my dream car but lack of safety features kept me away from it, specially when it was going to be a family car. But then, my annual Ladakh trip came up and the purchase was delayed (and for good). By the time I came back Fiat has announced Punto and as they say, rest is all history. One meeting with the car in person and then a small test drive, I was sold for it. Though I knew how difficult it is to maintain a vehicle of any color other than silver (specially when you don't have a covered parking and have many vehicles to take care of), for me if its Fiat, it got to be Red. Many people told me about the poor ASS, resale of fiat, why am I buying a small car for ~6.5L when a big car (Dzire) was available for much cheaper. All those were fine to tell mind to process but then for me it was a decision taken by heart, so all that didn't matter.

Now, I would soon be completing 1yr with the car and I must say, I'm in love with it.
