Hello from a fellow Punter!

I picked up my HH Black 1.3 MJD Punto E-pack from Rama Motors in New Delhi on 1st July 2009. It was the first Punto registered in my transport authority and I'm sure one of the very first registered anywhere in Delhi (or for that matter anywhere in India). I was there at Rama Motors a couple of days prior to the launch and pestered them to let me have a look at the Punto they had received (got inside info). They kept denying but finally relented to let me have a sneak peek of the car in their basement. No pictures were allowed though. I did not even need a test drive to convince me this was the car I wanted.

Linea was my first choice but the fact that I wanted the T-Jet which was still some time away, convinced me to go for the Punto in the meantime and add a T-Jet Linea later to replace my other car. I have driven the car close to 19k kms till date and it has been a breeze to own. No problems whatsoever. Rama Motors gets the job done right but they are painfully slow. I am willing to live with that till the time the job gets done.

Yes even i'm eagerly waiting for the t-jet, but in the punto... which looks far off to next year...
