if the gear ratio is changed we can easily make out irrespective of rpm. with engine giving full blast i.e say 2500 rpm there will always be a fixed speed on normal flat roads. so say if there is gear ratio X on punto 75hp @ 2500 rpm speed will be say 20 in 2nd gear if there is gear ratio Y on punto 90hp @ 2500 rpm speed will be say 30 in 2nd gear its just an example. i also checked boost at various rpms through OBD. its same on 2010 and 2011 models. so no ecu mapping too. ---------- Post added at 06:15 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:13 PM ---------- thanks for posting this. this also assures there is no change in gear ratio.
