Handling and service charge for dealer

    Go for L&T insurance. Even zero DEP will cost you around 20K. I have got a linea tjet active recently(in RTO). ex showroom zanzroli Maharashtra 730228. zero dep insurance INR 15845 and normal insurance INR 11445.

    Handling charges is standard INR5000

    Unfortunately, there is no standard charges. Every dealer keeps this charges based on their calculation and vary.

    I Mumbai and Thane all FIAT dealers charge INR 5000 which is the same as TATA motors dealers in Mumbai and Thane.

    Normally within city, all dealers keep same/similar cost, to have 'no competition' :).

    Fiat India intervened and service charge is cut down to 6500/- and dealer offered carpets and mudflaps with that.Wondering full option doesn't comes with carpets and mudflaps !!!

    Got another 6000/- discount on Oriental B2B insurance with cashless facility with Dealer body/work shop. Fiat customer care helped.I am happy :D

    PDI, test drive,err.. drives,predelivery washing, wiping, windshield washer liquid, sometimes FREBIES (of which Indian buyers are fond of) mats, mudflaps (available at 500 Rs aftermarket), fuel for PDI (less than 5 lits) & delivery and what not, all is included in handling charges.

    Show him the copy of SC judgement, and tell him that these handling charges amounts to 'Contempt of the court'. No wonder if he waives it off completely rather than negotiating it!
