    Polish papar is used to clean brake pads.
    I fully agree as you have mentioned small amount of grease/spray should not charged.
    Before 10 years dealers were not charging for these misscel.items.
    But now dealers are charging Rs.15 for polish paper. ::OO

    Means dealer who earns so much commission on each car sold by him. Dealer who earns his bread and butter on support of customer,that dealer is not ready to bear Rs.10-15 for polish paper. ::OO

    As I mentioned earlier dealers are searching new ideas and funda to loot customers. :devil

    In old days dealer were doing car business for passion and for service aim.
    Now a days every dealer's moto is " Let's make a loot of customer" :A

    Yea. Italia.... You are right. In fact,I questioned them if Coolant is 60:40 why use 5ltr. Coolant. He gave some explanation which was not satisfactory. But, we tend to move on more so when we are in a good mood. I hope they don't do "hanky panky " with me on a bad day :p

    @Grandeur- Forgot to hide the VIN no. and registration number of the GP on the bill. :)
    The info can be misused as per what I read in the newspaper a few months back when a vehicle lifting gang was busted.

    :lol: Our forum has adopted this word nicely.

    Linea and Grande Punto cooling systems have a capacity of 7.6 ltr and the mixture for it is 40:60
    It would use coolant above 3 ltr why they have used 5 ltr. ASS have probably used 60:40 and used above 4 ltr and charged for 5 ltr and dind't gave you leftover coolant. :thumbs down
    You have been overcharged for brake check I was charged 300 for the same.

    Thanks vijay for the insight on the Coolant. They did try to explain in similar lines. But,I prefer explanation from TFI members ;)

    The brake check I refused as I was not convinced about the rs. 650.

    Finally, 3M coating done. 4 layer of coating with 5 years warranty for Rs 2500. Here's how it was before and after.

    Well, 14K looks to be bit on upper side, but considering once a year, still cheaper than others.
    The labour cost looks to be on higher side, otherwise reasonable.

    What is Swift Diesel's Brake pad set cost? I think it is in same range.

    It was not necessary to apply 3 M.
    FIAT already apply Rubber paint to prevent rusting. Wastage of money

    It was matching (Red car - Red underbody)

    But now it is looking ugly & horrible because of black color in mudguard & in boot ::pP

    Bhai Sahab, Im sure u must have seen the pictures, properly. Look at the second picture u'll notice the body visible under the peeled off rubber paint.

    However I actually wanted my car to ugly ;).

    It wouldn't look ugly.

    My car is BSN white and I have also done the 3M rubber paint with 5 yrs warranty. Actually it looks better than silver one.

    More ever, you won't be able to see the actual black paint for long time since mud/dust will eventually accumulate, unless you are going to wash your car thoroughly daily ::V
