Enjoying Music More Than Before!

Finally, my car got it's new set of speakers.

I didn't wanted woofer, so my focus was to have just good sets of component speakers. After audiotioning quite a few, I finalized upon Audible Dynammics (componennt speakers) and Sound Extreme (6" speakers). I got it fitted at Auto Lounge, Kharghar. The guys are exremly friendly and went out of the way to satisfy my need. Initially we installed along with amplifier but output was not satisfactory and not worth the money spent, so they removed it. Here are the visuals of speakers installed on my car.

Components Auditioned: Polk Audio (PA needs an AMP to justify the fitment), JBL & Earth Quake (To me Audible Dynamics were sounding much better than JBL and Earthquake). (http://www.earthquakesound.com/focus_coaxials.htm).
Sound Quality: The sound quality has definitely improved a lot, earlier the bass was missing but now due to components, even at lower volume I don't miss them.
Sound Deadening: Yes sound deadening is required, specially when I crosses volume over 24-25.
Tweeter Location: Tweeter couldn't fit to it's stock location so it has to be placed on dashboard with 3M double sided tape. Cables are very wisely placed so it can't be seen.
Crossover Placement: Crossover's are placed under the glove box on left and beside bonnet leaver on right.
Fitting 6" at rear: Just a few extra drills to fit it with screw 6" in rear.
Distortion on higher Volume: Yes, of-course it will distort. But I hardly cross 18-20. Adding on Amp. will solve that issue.
Finally, The Cost: Well, the whole upgrade costed my around 6K. Rs 3800 for Component and Rs 2200 for Speakers.

Installation: It could be better, but not bad even. They didn't charged anything extra for installation. The ring they placed was of fiber which gave more firmness to components.
